Description

The Wiesloch Community Foundation supports Wiesloch students from financially disadvantaged families through the program "Support for Class Trips". The objective is to enable every child to participate at least once in their school life in a multi-day extracurricular event, regardless of their individual financial situation. The foundation usually covers 50% of the total costs, but no more than €200 per child and event. In this way, barriers are reduced and opportunities for participation in education are sustainably strengthened.

Eligible to participate are students residing in Wiesloch whose need is confirmed by appropriate documentation. The application is submitted via the respective school administration; the required forms are available in the school offices and can be downloaded online. All costs of the class trip are eligible for funding, provided they have not already been subsidized or reimbursed by other sources. Since the program is continuously open for applications, requests can be submitted at any time. This provides educational institutions in Baden-Württemberg with a straightforward way to secure unforgettable learning and community experiences for disadvantaged children.
