Support for Seniors (Hanel Seniors Foundation)

The Hanel Seniors Foundation offers direct and uncomplicated support in the form of grants to older people aged 65 and over who are affected by old-age poverty, loneliness, or social exclusion. The goal is to sustainably improve the quality of life and social participation of seniors and to preserve their dignity in old age. Through personal conversations, community activities, everyday support, and individual counseling, new spaces for encounters and reliable support structures are created. These include the distribution of food packages and hot meals, the provision of material goods and aids, as well as digital assistance with applications and official procedures. Additionally, regular meetings such as breakfast and coffee gatherings, cultural excursions, and monthly flower greetings enrich social interaction.

Interested private individuals can apply at any time, without fixed deadlines and without complex bureaucratic hurdles. In five simple steps – from the initial phone call to the straightforward disbursement – each grant is individually tailored and quickly implemented.
