Description

The funding in Salzburg supports therapeutic outpatient and socio-educational services to sustainably strengthen the upbringing of children and adolescents within the family environment. Recognized providers of independent child and youth welfare as well as qualified individuals under a contract for work with a district administrative authority offer a wide range of care forms: from socio-educational and therapeutic outpatient family care to intensive pedagogical family intensive care and individual one-on-one care. The goal is to promote both the personality-forming resources and competencies of minors as well as the parenting skills of families. The individual cost contribution is based on the income situation of the maintenance obligors and enables needs-based support. Applications can be submitted at any time, ensuring continuous funding opportunities.

Only non-profit organizations recognized as providers of independent child and youth welfare are eligible for funding. A concluded contract for work with a district administrative authority constitutes the formal prerequisite for application. The grant is provided in the form of subsidies and is aimed at institutions that, with professional expertise and pedagogical experience, ensure a sustainable strengthening of parenting competence in families. Families with minor children, where strengthening family cohesion and parenting quality is the focus, directly benefit from the individually tailored services. Transparency and quality of the services provided are ensured through continuous professional supervision and annual financial reporting by the providers.
