The Aline Reimer Foundation – Network for Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer supports affected individuals aged 13 to 30 with tailored grants and in-kind benefits. Nationwide, private individuals can submit applications for assistance with daily life management, school participation via the School AVATAR, or psychosocial support. The foundation covers costs for digital health and sexual counseling services, provides everyday aids such as laptops, bicycles, or household appliances, and enables participation in specialized course and coaching programs. The support offerings are based on the degree of need and age and are available both during active therapy and in aftercare. A medical certificate and the completed PDF form serve as the basis for prompt processing; applications can be submitted at any time via email.

With the funding goal of facilitating reintegration into education, studies, and employment, the foundation complements traditional support forms with innovative digital offerings such as the School AVATAR technology and e-learning courses. This gives young people the opportunity to continue important life phases despite hospital stays or physical limitations. Additionally, the foundation offers coverage of costs for psychosocial counseling and workshops to strengthen mental health, self-efficacy, and life planning after diagnosis. Through this holistic support, the foundation places individual well-being at the center and accompanies participants on their path back to everyday life.
