Description

The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Schleswig-Holstein – werkstatt utopie und gedächtnis e.V. supports the joint planning and implementation of educational events in Schleswig-Holstein within the framework of event cooperation. The aim of this collaboration is to anchor and promote the plurality of alternative, social, ecological, and emancipatory movements in dialogue. Funded are seminars, conferences, discussion rounds, or congresses organized by non-profit associations, educational institutions, and interest groups. As a grant project, the cooperation covers fees, travel expenses, and other material costs, thereby supporting the realistic design of the events. Board decisions are usually made monthly; applications should be submitted at least four weeks, ideally two months, before the planned date.

A prerequisite for approval is a timely cooperation application focusing on alternative, social, ecological, or emancipatory topics, as well as clear identification of the collaboration in all announcements, including logo integration. The evaluation is based on thematic suitability, the diversity of the involved movements, and compliance with formal requirements. Required for application submission are, among others, the cooperation application form, a participant list, fee contracts, a final activity report, and, if applicable, evaluation documents. Through this funding opportunity, the Foundation strengthens social cohesion and offers external organizers sustainable support for effective political education work.
