Description
The funding program supports agricultural enterprises and producer cooperatives in Bavaria with targeted investments in the regional processing and marketing of agricultural products. The goal is to optimize processing procedures, implement stringent quality controls, and expand innovative marketing and packaging solutions. As a grant measure, acquisitions of machinery and equipment, planning and consulting costs, as well as expenses for quality inspections are eligible for funding. Continuous application submission is possible, allowing enterprises and cooperatives to invest flexibly in modern technology and sustainably strengthen their products.
For approval, proof of an enterprise or producer cooperative based in Bavaria as well as a detailed project description are required. In addition to cost estimates and a business plan, the official application form and information on the planned measures must be submitted. During the evaluation, economic efficiency, regional relevance, and ecological sustainability are the focus. Expenses for land or property acquisition, ongoing operating costs, and personnel expenses are not eligible. Professional support and processing are provided by the State Leadership Academy for Nutrition, Agriculture, and Forestry on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry.
