Association Support of the City of Frankenberg/Saxony

Since the entry into force of the club funding statute on March 20, 2019, the club funding program of the city of Frankenberg/Saxony has supported non-profit organizations based in Frankenberg/Saxony in the implementation of cultural, sporting, and social projects. Funding is provided particularly for initiatives in the areas of child and youth work, culture & media, sports, labor & social affairs, as well as engagement for social cohesion and democracy. Through grants, clubs can expand their diverse activities and make a sustainable contribution to cultural life and the strengthening of volunteer work in the Saxony region.

Applications can be submitted continuously and are based on the “Application for Club Funding” (PDF), accompanied by the proof of use. Among other documents, cost estimates for municipal services must be submitted for review. The funding amount is determined by a comparison of total costs, own funds, and other income. The funding requirements – location in Frankenberg/Saxony, non-profit status, and application in accordance with the club funding statute – establish clear framework conditions. Club boards and project managers will find all necessary fields for project description, financing, and documentation in both the application and proof of use PDFs. The transparent handling ensures straightforward processing, strengthens club structures, and promotes the realization of valuable community projects.
