The Lahn Marble Museum Foundation continuously supports projects that promote the museum’s purpose in the Lahn Marble region. Non-profit organizations, public and private institutions, as well as individuals, may apply for funding in the form of grants. The focus lies on artistic and cultural mediation as well as scientific research into the geology, history, extraction, and processing of Lahn marble. Particular importance is given to museum educational programs for children, youth, and adult groups, taking into account national and international museum standards and the youth welfare planning of the Limburg-Weilburg district. Through this, the foundation contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage and creates inspiring meeting spaces for schools, associations, tourists, and all interested parties.
