Description
The Amplifier Funding – Business Stabilization in Styria is aimed at small and medium-sized commercial tourism enterprises that are experiencing economic difficulties but demonstrate long-term potential for success. In close cooperation with the federal funding agency, idealistic and financial measures are combined to sustainably strengthen competitiveness, job security, and regional value creation. The funding is provided as direct grants ranging from €25,000 to €350,000 with a funding rate of 4% to 15%, depending on the design of the project and the fulfillment of tourism policy priorities. Applications can be submitted without time limitation, allowing flexible adaptation to business developments.
Eligible are SMEs located in Styrian tourism municipalities with a valid commercial license and proof of at least 30% equity capital. Grants are available for capitalizable tangible investments, business consulting, and innovations, while replacement investments without quality improvements, company cars, undeveloped land, or pending insolvency proceedings are excluded. Evaluation criteria include economy, efficiency, appropriateness, investment quality, regional added value, and alignment with key tourism requirements. Extensive documentation on the economic situation, annual financial statements, revenue and overnight stay statistics, as well as proof of assets, are part of the application documents.
