Description
The contractual funding of the Carinthian Homeland Association strengthens the club’s work in the fields of culture and media through an annual grant for the financing and publication of the publications stipulated in the club’s statutes. Funding is provided in particular for the homeland magazine “Die Kärntner Landsmannschaft” as well as planned special editions that contribute to the preservation of regional cultural heritage and the presentation of regional studies topics. Applications can be submitted at any time by non-profit interest groups and clubs based in Carinthia – regardless of fixed deadlines. A prerequisite for approval, in addition to club membership, is the submission of a fully completed and signed funding application form as well as the reference to funding by the State of Carinthia using the “Kärnten Kultur” logo.
The aim of the funding is to ensure the continuous fulfillment of the tasks of the Carinthian Homeland Association and to strengthen the journalistic presence of the club’s activities. The processing is carried out by Department 14 – Arts and Culture in the Office of the Carinthian State Government, which is also responsible for professional advice and administrative support during the application process. Through financial support, the homeland community can continue its communication and educational offerings in printed form, realize new special editions, and thereby sustainably promote cultural awareness in Carinthia. A permanent validity of the funding guideline ensures that clubs can respond flexibly to current publication projects.
