Description
The Fully Assisted Living program in Vienna is aimed at adults with disabilities who require comprehensive support in daily life, meals, and accommodation. As a personal subsidy provided by the Fonds Soziales Wien, needs-based care services are available in shared apartments or private individual apartments. Within the fields of social affairs, health, and work & social affairs, the funding is granted indefinitely; a legal entitlement exists under the Vienna Equal Opportunities Act (CGW). The goal is to strengthen self-determination and social participation through fixed agreements. A component of the funding is the personal contribution, which results from care-related cash benefits and income. Funding for care costs, meal costs, and accommodation costs can be accessed at any time.
Eligible for funding are private individuals with primary residence in Vienna, Austrian citizenship or equivalent residency status, who have reached the age of 18 and participate in day structure, vocational qualification, or work. A needs assessment by the Fonds Soziales Wien forms the basis for the grant, which is evaluated based on criteria such as needs orientation, necessity, and quality standards of the facility. For the application, among other documents, a photo ID, birth certificate, proof of citizenship, proof of disability status, income, care-related cash benefits, as well as a declaration of commitment/liability must be submitted. Applications can be submitted at any time to the customer service of the Fonds Soziales Wien and support individual residential assistance in recognized facilities to ensure a safe, socially integrated form of living.
