Fully Assisted Living

Fully assisted living in Vienna offers a comprehensive care service provided by the Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW) for individuals with physical, psychological, or cognitive impairments. Professional support and accompaniment are available around the clock in a specially designed residential setting to ensure a safe and self-determined daily life. Funding is provided as a grant and can be applied for at any time. In doing so, the FSW supports people with a wide range of support needs to experience a homely environment with individualized care and social participation.

Funding is provided for individuals who require continuous care due to disabilities, mental illnesses, or limited everyday competence. The goal is to enable a self-determined life with medical, nursing, and psychosocial support in a familiar environment. The continuously open application deadlines offer flexibility and prompt assistance without long waiting times. With an annual budget of approximately 2.56 billion euros and over 2,600 employees, the FSW, together with around 170 partner organizations, ensures individualized care for approximately 145,000 clients annually. This service makes an important contribution to the inclusion and quality of life of people with support needs and provides a sustainable basis for long-term care and participation.
