Description
This grant supports non-profit organizations as well as public institutions in Tyrol in providing a full-time supervised residential program with daily structure for children and adolescents suffering from mental illnesses and whose psychosocial abilities are severely impaired. The aim of this service is sustainable psychological stabilization through intensive care throughout the entire day. The young participants are accompanied in a protected living environment and receive support with school and vocational reintegration as well as reintegration into the family environment. This measure thus makes a decisive contribution to reintegration into education, school, and community and promotes a long-term improvement in the quality of life of the target group.
Interested institutions can submit applications on an ongoing basis without having to adhere to fixed deadlines. Eligible for funding are organizations that provide in-kind services in the field of child and youth welfare in Tyrol and hold approval in accordance with the Tyrolean Participation Act (§ 10 para. 1 lit. c). The grant is provided as financial support to cover operating costs and enables continuous care without the providers having to advance funds. Through this open funding structure, sustainably effective offers for the psychosocial care of young people are to be created and their return to school, training, and family optimally supported.
