Description

The Orphan Aid of the Post, Postbank, and Telekom Support Association provides nationwide assistance to needy half-orphans and orphans from the circle of employees or former employees of Post, Postbank, and Telekom. The aim of this grant funding is to secure education, training, and livelihood for minors and young adults up to 27 years of age – with no age limit in cases of severe disability. The funding applies when financial need exists in accordance with § 53 No. 2 of the Fiscal Code and the death of a parent leaves financial gaps. Through a strong local network, applicants receive not only material support but also individual counseling in crisis situations. Volunteer companions are available as trusted contacts and, if necessary, facilitate long-term assistance.

The funds may be granted in the form of flat-rate death benefits, one-time grants for acute emergencies – such as school clothing, class trips, or additional tutoring – as well as ongoing support for longer-term shortages. Interested parties may submit applications at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines. Applications are processed easily through the Support Association; works councils or social counseling within the respective companies provide additional contact mediation. Through solidarity within the community of Post, Postbank, and Telekom, reliable and sustainable support is ensured, helping affected families step by step toward a stable future.
