Description
The membership fee for the association "Wein Burgenland" supports regular members in sustainably increasing the awareness and value creation of Burgenland wines. Funding is provided particularly to the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture, the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce, the Regional Wine Committee Burgenland, as well as the State of Burgenland, which jointly implement operational measures. The focus is on targeted advertising campaigns, presence at national and international fairs and exhibitions, and the self-organization of events. These consolidated marketing activities create a strong regional presence that enables synergies and cooperation with institutions of similar objectives, thereby unlocking new sales potential.
Only membership fees within the total budget of €150,000 are funded; no upper limit per application is specified. All regular members are eligible to apply, provided the association’s purpose is fulfilled according to the statutes. The subsidy can be applied for year-round and without limitation; there is no deadline. The goal is long-term support of joint marketing and cooperation measures aimed at strengthening the Burgenland wine market and exploring new development potentials. Individual decisions are made by the state government; there is no specific regulation as a legal basis.
