Further Training (Foundation of the Support Association for Children with Cancer Tübingen)

The continuing education program of the Foundation of the Support Association for Children with Cancer Tübingen offers research-oriented qualification measures for physicians and nursing staff of the Pediatric Clinic Tübingen in the field of pediatric oncology. Located in the Baden-Württemberg region, the program aims to rapidly translate the latest scientific findings into clinical practice, thereby further improving therapeutic success for children with cancer. Through targeted attendance at international symposia and specialist conferences, a direct transfer of knowledge is ensured, enabling participants to immediately apply innovative treatment approaches. As public funding opportunities become increasingly limited, the foundation assumes responsibility for selected continuing education projects to ensure excellent medical care at a high standard.

Both participation fees and travel expenses for specialized training measures are funded. Eligible to apply are physicians and nursing staff employed at the Pediatric Clinic Tübingen and working in the field of pediatric oncology. Public institutions and private individuals from the health and science sectors can also benefit from this grant. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, allowing flexible planning and implementation of national and international training. Through this continuous support, the foundation makes a sustainable contribution to professional development and the strengthening of oncological care quality in Baden-Württemberg.
