Description
The Investment Bank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) undertakes, on behalf of the state of Schleswig-Holstein, the review and recognition of continuing education events for educational leave in accordance with the Continuing Education Act Schleswig-Holstein (WBG). The aim of this procedure is to enable employees to exercise their legally established right to educational leave (educational leave) and to ensure high-quality offerings in the fields of training, further education, and counseling. Recognized events contribute to the individual competence development of participants and support the sustainable educational infrastructure throughout the entire federal state.
Eligible for funding are educational institutions, companies, private individuals, as well as non-profit and public organizations wishing to offer continuing education events. Requirements for recognition include a formal application submitted to IB.SH no later than ten weeks before the event start date, a detailed work and time schedule, a methodological-didactic concept, as well as proof of fee payment and public announcement. The content and organization of the event are evaluated based on the specifications of the WBG and the Educational Leave Ordinance (BilFVO). Reviewers from the responsible committee examine compliance with the quality and accessibility criteria according to §§ 16 and 17 WBG. Interested organizers receive comprehensive advice from the “Work-Education-Social” department of IB.SH and can access decisions and reports on implementation online after successful recognition. This procedure promotes a diverse range of recognized continuing education events in Schleswig-Holstein and strengthens the professional and personal development of employees.
