"We" with Enthusiasm & Commitment

The "Wir" Foundation, with the enthusiasm and commitment of Volksbank Hameln-Stadthagen, supports sustainable and community-oriented projects throughout its entire business area that make a tangible contribution to strengthening the regional living environment. Projects are funded in the areas of education, science, culture, sports, vocational training and further education, as well as research & innovation. Environmental and social initiatives, disaster protection measures, and civic engagement also fall within the broad funding spectrum. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, municipal and public institutions, companies, private individuals, as well as civil society actors who wish to promote a sustainable coexistence for all generations.

Funding requests can be submitted at any time; the most important prerequisites are a convincing project plan, a transparent cost and financing overview, and proof of the sustainable or community-oriented purpose within the business area of Volksbank Hameln-Stadthagen. Decision-making criteria focus on the contribution to improving living conditions, regional anchoring, and community orientation. The project description, financing plan, and a current proof of non-profit status or legal form must be submitted. The funding strengthens initiatives that contribute to the attractiveness of the region, promote a sense of community, and have a long-term impact.
