Description
The scientifically evaluated attachment training for single parents is aimed at mothers and fathers with children up to ten years old and is offered nationwide at over 36 locations. Public institutions and non-profit organizations can become active cooperation partners and receive comprehensive training to independently conduct the group sessions. Funding is provided as a grant and can be applied for continuously, allowing local institutions and municipalities to express interest at any time in order to implement the program locally. The three-tiered care model includes low-threshold online modules, outpatient group sessions over 20 weeks, as well as compact and inpatient rehabilitation variants.
With a focus on psychosocial health, the training aims to reduce psychological stress among single parents and to strengthen empathy and attachment skills. The emphasis is on promoting parental communication competencies, separating couple conflicts from parental roles, and practicing social skills for the sustainable stabilization of the parent-child relationship. The program specifically addresses single and separated parents who seek targeted support in managing their family daily life. Prerequisites for funding include the willingness to qualify group leaders and the commitment to independently implement the concept.
