Description
The Stüllenberg Foundation supports nonprofit projects and programs nationwide in Germany aimed at crime and traffic accident prevention, as well as the evaluation of social measures within the framework of an impact-based co-funding model. The disbursement of grants is aligned with the degree of agreed target achievement: 100% of the approved co-funding shares are paid out upon full fulfillment, 75% for partial implementation, and 50% if the target is largely unmet. The funding rate overall varies between 50% and 100% of the defined project costs. Applications can be submitted informally at any time, ensuring an unbureaucratic and pragmatic application process. This innovative approach aims to strengthen efficiency, self- and third-party funding participation, and promote effective use of resources within civil society structures.
Eligible for funding are nonprofit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, associations, and foundations with sustainable organizational structures and clearly defined, measurable objectives. A prerequisite for a successful application is a comprehensible evaluation concept and willingness to co-finance through own or third-party funds. Assessment criteria include the degree of target achievement, the plausibility of the evaluation concept, and the sustainability of the organizational structure. Through this program, the foundation particularly supports actors from civil society and administration who implement effective prevention and research projects. This funding format offers the opportunity to strengthen social cohesion and democratic engagement in the long term and to sustainably anchor innovative approaches in counseling, research, and social financing.
