The Immler Extended Family Foundation "Joy of Life in the Family Network" continuously supports scientific work on multigenerational and family-related topics within the framework of its multigenerational house in Baden-Württemberg. Private individuals, educational institutions, and public organizations may submit project proposals at any time. Funding is provided for diploma and doctoral theses that address social, demographic, and cross-generational structures and include close cooperation with the foundation as well as long-term scientific supervision by the responsible chair in their research plan. Eligible expenses include literature and archive costs, travel expenses for field research, as well as printing and publication costs. General administrative costs of the university or the purchase of office furniture are not eligible for funding. The foundation evaluates projects based on their relevance to the multigenerational house concept, scientific quality, and their innovation and practical application. Required are a detailed project description with a timeline and research plan, a tabular CV of the applicants, and a supervision commitment from the chair.
