Description

In the coming year, a comprehensive range of free workshops, movement and family days will be launched in Hesse to holistically support tumor patients at St. Vincenz Hospital Limburg. Under the umbrella of the St. Vincenz-Hospital Limburg Foundation, creative initiatives such as vocal cord and art workshops, sports sessions, and moderated self-help groups will be offered over a period of twelve months. Family days will facilitate exchange within a familiar circle, while specially designed movement afternoons will promote stable health and accompany therapy success. All activities aim to intensify psychosocial support, strengthen personal resilience, and sustainably improve quality of life. Financial support covers 100 percent of participation costs.

Eligible to participate are all individuals diagnosed with tumors who are being treated at St. Vincenz Hospital Limburg – including patients of the Breast and Genital Cancer Center of the Women's Clinic. Continuous registration via form or email is possible immediately; for the major family day, a binding confirmation is requested by August 10, 2026. Oncological care on site is a prerequisite. The foundation decides according to strict, democratic criteria and ensures a smooth start from January 2026. Regional expertise meets warm-hearted care here to sustainably support tumor patients in their personal life and recovery process and to jointly open up new perspectives.
