Description
The funding program "Supplement for Personnel Resources and Care Quality" supports non-profit sponsoring organizations in Vienna in sustainably optimizing the essential educational offerings in private kindergarten groups, toddler groups, and family groups. It is aimed at institutions with a valid full funding agreement under the "Contribution-Free Kindergarten" model and at least one care group for children up to the compulsory school starting age. The goal is a noticeable improvement in early childhood care quality through uniform quality standards and an improved staff-to-child ratio. Funded are additional personnel hours, the employment of cleaning and kitchen staff, training and further education measures for pedagogical personnel, as well as the purchase of external services. The maximum funding rate is 100%, with monthly supplements granted between €850 and €1,700 per group. Approval is granted within a five-year funding period until the end of 2029, based on criteria such as public interest, financial need, and compliance with legal requirements.
For a successful application, sponsoring organizations must prove their non-profit status and submit current statutes or articles of association. Additionally, income-expenditure statements, evidence of social security registrations and payroll accounts, as well as an excerpt from the association register or commercial register must be submitted. Costs such as representation expenses, travel costs, or imputed costs are not permissible. Annual accounting is carried out through numerical evidence and factual reports to document the proper use of funds. This funding initiative ensures the sustainable strengthening of care quality in Vienna and optimally supports the developmental steps of the children.
