Description
The grants for German-speaking Old Austrians from the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 1 – State Office Directorate, support cultural projects with a historical Old Austria reference. Natural persons from Carinthia who wish to carry out projects in the fields of culture and media can submit applications on an ongoing basis. Funding is provided as a direct grant, whereby original invoices must be submitted for accounting and are invalidated during a document check. A proof of use must be submitted upon completion of the project. Funding commitments are made at the discretion of the authority in accordance with the General Guidelines for Funding from State Funds and are valid indefinitely (since 01.01.2014).
The following documents are required for an application: completed application form including detailed financial planning, a subsidy declaration, as well as proof of the funding commitment. Eligible expenses exclusively include already paid original invoices, which must be documented up to the amount of the granted funding. The program is explicitly aimed at individuals who have a close connection to Old Austria and realize their cultural projects in Carinthia. Experts and participants receive the opportunity through this support to reprocess traditional content, preserve cultural heritage, and make it accessible in a contemporary context. Applications can be submitted at any time without a fixed deadline, thereby ensuring maximum planning security.
