Description

The state of Tyrol supports providers of integration groups in crèches, kindergartens, and after-school care centers with a subsidy amounting to 30% of the wage costs. The objective of this funding is the sustainable assurance of inclusive care in accordance with § 2 para. 6 and § 38a of the Tyrolean Child Education and Childcare Act. Through financial relief, professionals in integration groups are strengthened, and children with special support needs are offered the best possible educational accompaniment. The subsidy payment is made no later than the end of the calendar year in which the respective care year ends.

Eligible for funding are educational institutions that hold an official approval under the Tyrolean Child Education and Childcare Act and can provide an authorization pursuant to § 38a TiKBBG. Applications can be submitted continuously, but no later than the end of the respective care year. Required are the submission of the official approval of the integration group as well as the funding commitment. The funding is granted as a direct allocation and is exclusively intended to cover the wage costs of the integration groups. Through the consistent promotion of inclusive structures, the program contributes to the equal participation of all children in educational and care services and simultaneously supports the professional work of educational specialists.
