Grants for Representative Events

The program "Grants for Representative Occasions" supports events and receptions that are directly related to the state of Carinthia or the Office of the Carinthian State Government. Both private and legal applicants such as companies, non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, foundations, or cooperatives are eligible for funding. The grant contributes to regional promotion and helps to enliven cultural life as well as strengthen agricultural and rural development in Carinthia. Whether an opening ceremony, anniversary reception, or cultural event – the funding honors representative occasions that highlight the identity and recognition of the region. Submissions are accepted continuously, providing planning security for future events.

For a successful application, a written request, a subsidy declaration, and a detailed financing plan are required. Additionally, a funding commitment from the responsible political advisor of the Office of the Carinthian State Government must be provided. Processing is based on a discretionary decision according to the General Guidelines for Funding from State Funds. Upon completion of the project, proof of use must be submitted with original receipts and payment confirmations. Due to the continuously open deadline, short-term planning is just as possible as long-term planned representative measures.
