Description
The funding program “Grants for Renovation Measures and Assistive Devices for People in Need of Care and Support” in Tyrol supports private individuals with the aim of sustainably strengthening home care and support. Funding is provided for renovation measures as well as technical assistive devices that enable people in need of care or support aged 65 and over to remain in their familiar environment. Eligible applicants are Austrian citizens or equivalent persons with their main residence in Tyrol, whose household income does not exceed the maximum limits set out in the funding guidelines. The measure requires proof of need for care or support and aims to maintain independence in the private household.
An application can be submitted before the implementation of the measure with a cost estimate and must be submitted in writing no later than twelve months after completion of the renovation measure or acquisition of the assistive device. For application review, among other documents, the care allowance decision, proof of income and assets, a registration confirmation, as well as a justification of the necessity of the requested service must be provided. Additionally, information on possible insurance claims by third parties as well as the invoice and proof of payment must be submitted. This funding supports measures that are economically justifiable, necessary, and appropriate to ensure dignified care for people in need and to enable them to remain in their familiar home environment for as long as possible.
