Description
The state of Upper Austria supports non-profit organizations in the partial financing of the ongoing operations of child protection centers based in Upper Austria. The aim of this funding is to offer free assistance to minors affected by physical or psychological violence or sexual abuse. Specialized psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers provide confidential counseling, therapeutic support, as well as psychosocial and legal process assistance at the centers. Furthermore, the regional support system is sustainably strengthened and a multiprofessional exchange is ensured. Through continuous operation, a low-threshold service is created that offers children and adolescents rapid and professionally coordinated support in acute crisis situations.
Applications can be submitted at any time, as there are no deadlines to observe. Funding requirements include a positive suitability determination notice, a positive result of the needs assessment, compliance with established quality criteria, and participation in annual target discussions.
