Description

As the leading international organization for education, training, and academic research in the field of corruption prevention, the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Vienna receives an annual grant. This serves to secure financial planning and ensures the sustainable operation of the academy. In the areas of social cohesion, promotion of democracy, as well as education and training, the funding strengthens the commitment to transparency, inclusive educational offerings, and cross-border cooperation. Through continuous support, expert conferences, e-learning programs, and interdisciplinary research initiatives can be developed, consolidating global expertise in the fight against corruption.

With a reliable base contribution of 300,000 euros per year and the possibility of additional grants up to a total of 500,000 euros p.a., the subsidy offers operational flexibility and long-term resource planning. A prerequisite is the conclusion of a funding agreement in accordance with § 3 para. 1 of the IACA Support Act. The indefinite funding option allows applications to be submitted at any time and provides leeway to respond to changing conditions. This ensures that the academy remains operational as a central institution in international anti-corruption efforts and makes a significant contribution to the global strengthening of integrity, the rule of law, and sustainable prevention research.
