Description
The funding program “MedienPro” supports innovative projects aimed at profiling and networking the media location of Saxony-Anhalt. The funding is specifically targeted at companies, start-ups, freelancers, as well as non-profit organizations and educational institutions with media-related initiatives. A main office or relocation of the headquarters or implementation of the project within the federal state is a prerequisite. Special emphasis is placed on the level of innovation as well as economic and social sustainability in order to create a lasting, tangible added value for the regional media industry. Applications can be submitted continuously to the Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt and are granted as non-repayable subsidies.
Funding can be used for personnel expenses, material and equipment costs, external services and fees, as well as for media and technology procurement or marketing and public relations activities. However, the acquisition of real estate or ongoing administrative costs are not eligible for funding. For the application, a completed application form, a project outline, a cost and financing plan, as well as proof of professional qualifications and a curriculum vitae are required. Each project is evaluated based on its degree of innovation, contribution to strengthening the media location Saxony-Anhalt, and sustainability.
