About the funder

The Academy for Christian Leaders (AcF) is a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Gummersbach. The AcF combines theological and management science content into a modular, practice-oriented leadership program. In cooperation with universities such as Kairos University (USA) and the University of Pretoria/UNISA, it offers recognized certificates and master's degrees. Mission & Vision

AcF sees itself as a bridge between professionalism and spirituality: Our goal is to highly qualify Christian leaders professionally while simultaneously imparting biblical leadership principles. We promote the transfer from theory to practice through modular programs that holistically combine personal, theological, and methodological competencies. In doing so, we are guided by the Christian guiding principle, "Whoever wants to be first among you must be ready to serve others" (Matthew 20:26).

Target groups

The AcF funding programs are aimed at (future) leaders in the profit and nonprofit sectors who wish to carry out their leadership responsibilities professionally on a Christian foundation. This includes leaders of congregations, Christian organizations, NGOs, as well as employees and executives in private and public companies. The programs are designed for individuals who are already in leadership positions or aspire to such roles and seek educational offerings that are both scientifically grounded and spiritually shaped.
