About the funder
The Aktion Mensch Foundation is a non-profit private foundation based in Bonn that has been financially supporting inclusion projects for over 50 years. From the proceeds of its social lottery, it annually provides funding for around 9,500 projects in Germany. The foundation particularly supports initiatives in the areas of work, leisure, education and personal development, housing, as well as accessibility and mobility. With a total volume of, for example, 5 million euros in the funding campaign "Making a Difference!", the foundation empowers young people against exclusion and bullying. It grants subsidies of up to 450,000 euros and funding rates ranging from 40% to 100% for personnel, fees, material costs, and investments.

Mission & Vision
The Aktion Mensch Foundation is committed to creating an inclusive society in which people with disabilities and those facing social challenges can participate autonomously. Through sustainable project funding, it aims to dismantle barriers, increase equal opportunities, and strengthen social cohesion – guided by the principle "Together for a world for all."
Target groups
Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations based in Germany that are committed to people with disabilities, children, adolescents and young adults up to 27 years of age, as well as individuals facing particular social difficulties (such as homelessness or after release from closed institutions). The foundation targets initiatives, associations, and sponsors that implement innovative and inclusive projects and aim to sustainably improve the quality of life of their target groups.
