Mission & Vision
Our mission is to ensure the sustainable management of fish stocks and the preservation of healthy, species-rich aquatic ecosystems in Lower Austria. We promote educational and informational offerings for fishers, establish legal and organizational frameworks in the interest of waterbody and species protection, and support innovative renaturation and conservation projects. In doing so, we place particular emphasis on collaboration with authorities, science, and local communities.
Target groups
Our services are aimed at fishermen and fisherwomen, fishing rights holders, and fishing practitioners, as well as fishing clubs and associations in Lower Austria. We support both beginners and experienced license holders through training courses, consulting, and services. Furthermore, we work closely with authorities, nature conservation organizations, and research institutions to improve water quality and ensure biodiversity in flowing and still waters.
