About the funder
The Office of the Styrian Provincial Government, Department 8 Health and Care, is the central specialist department for all funding, recognition, and management tasks in the health and care sector of Styria. It coordinates financial subsidies and recognition procedures for inpatient and mobile care and support services, awards, among others, the COVID hazard allowance to employees of care facilities, and initiates innovative programs such as Community (Health) Nursing to strengthen local healthcare provision. Furthermore, the department serves as the contact point for the recognition of inpatient facilities for social welfare recipients and home helper training programs.
