About the funder

The Autismusstiftung Tübingen is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Tübingen. It was established in 2013 by parents of autistic children and is dedicated to the concrete improvement of the living conditions of people on the autism spectrum. Since public authorities often do not cover all necessary measures, the foundation supports projects and initiatives that go beyond the usual scope, particularly in the areas of communication, therapy, and integration. The board consists of four members, three of whom are parents of autistic children themselves, complemented by caregivers, teachers, and therapists.

Mission & Vision

The Autismusstiftung Tübingen is committed to providing tailored support and assistance to autistic individuals and their families, especially where public systems reach their limits. Our goal is to sustainably improve the communication opportunities, therapeutic services, and social participation of people on the autism spectrum through targeted projects, collaborations, and events.

Target groups

Funding is provided for people of all ages diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, as well as their relatives and caregivers. The foundation supports individuals and groups who, due to their autistic characteristics, require enhanced communication, perception, and integration assistance, as well as parent initiatives, care, and therapy facilities that serve this target group.
