Ballettstiftung Heinz Bosl
About the funder
The Heinz Bosl Foundation was established in 1978 in memory of the exceptional dancer Heinz Bosl and has been supporting international young dancers for over 40 years. It assists young talents through scholarships, covering rental costs, providing stage experience, developing new choreographies, as well as engaging choreographers, ballet masters, composers, costume designers, and lighting designers. The goal is to train strong artistic personalities and to sustainably strengthen dance and ballet as a cultural form within an open, humane society.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to support young dancers aged 17 to 21 in their artistic and personal development. Through a diverse funding policy, we create a kaleidoscope of opportunities: from scholarships to artistic collaborations. We believe in the transformative power of dance and culture and are committed to reaching new audiences and actively shaping the future of dance.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Heinz Bosl Foundation are aimed at young professional dancers between the ages of 17 and 21 who gain their first professional experience with the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich. In addition, emerging choreographers, ballet masters, as well as culture and dance enthusiasts are addressed, who contribute as patrons, sponsors, or volunteers to the realization of productions and the preservation of the cultural offering.
