About the funder

The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is a supreme state authority headquartered in Munich (Prinzregentenstraße 28). It is responsible for the economic, energy, and spatial planning policies of the Free State of Bavaria. Funding priorities include: economic transformation and bioeconomy, high-tech and innovation (Hightech Agenda Bavaria with €3.5 billion), start-up support (Founderland Bavaria, 19 digital start-up centers), energy transition (Energy Plan Bavaria 2040, hydrogen, renewables), regional development, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and crafts. Target groups

The geographical focus is the Free State of Bavaria. Requirements vary by program; a company location in Bavaria is often required.
