Berner Stiftung
About the funder
The Dr. Wolfgang and Sigrid Berner Foundation, based in Frankfurt am Main, has been supporting sick, disabled, disadvantaged, and otherwise needy children and adolescents in Frankfurt and the surrounding area since 2003. Since 2011, it has been complemented by the Hermann and Dr. Irmgard Neumann Foundation, which supports musically gifted children and adolescents from families with limited financial means in the Rhine-Main region. The foundations not only provide financial resources but also supply high-quality instruments, initiate competitions, and facilitate networking contacts to create sustainable educational opportunities.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to promote equal opportunities for disadvantaged and musically talented children and young people. We rely on long-term partnerships to contribute not only financial support but also expertise, contacts, and commitment. Our goal is to unlock educational potential, strengthen social skills, and sustainably secure cultural participation.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Berner Foundation are aimed at sick, disabled, disadvantaged, or needy children and adolescents in Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding area. The Neumann Foundation focuses on musically gifted children and adolescents from financially disadvantaged families in the Rhine-Main region. Both foundations support individuals and groups who would have no access to high-quality education or musical development without external assistance.
