Mission & Vision
BMH aims to sustainably strengthen the Hessian economy through demand-oriented equity and mezzanine investments. We promote innovation, growth, and business succession in small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups in Hesse. In doing so, we support our portfolio companies in the long term, enhance their resilience and competitiveness, and work closely with private investors, development banks, and regional partners to achieve a positive Hesse effect and secure jobs.
Target groups
The funding programs of BMH are aimed at innovative start-ups and growth companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as technology-oriented start-ups with headquarters, branches, or operational facilities in Hesse. Projects from all business phases are supported, provided they require equity capital to finance innovation, expansion, digitization, or succession initiatives. A secured overall financing and a sustainable, positive contribution to the development of the Hesse location are prerequisites.
