About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Rössing is a non-profit organization established by citizens for citizens, founded in June 2007. It independently finances and supports projects in the areas of youth and elderly care, sports, arts and culture, education and upbringing, environmental, landscape and monument protection, as well as local heritage and customs preservation in Rössing. The foundation is built on an endowment fund as well as donations from benefactors to enable long-term and reliable funding activities. With currently 146 benefactors, it operates independently of political and religious influences and keeps administrative costs to a minimum.

Mission & Vision
We empower people who joyfully commit to the common good of their village, take on greater responsibility in the social development of Rössing, and wish to pass on their acquired life knowledge. Through projects that bring together ideas, time, and financial resources, we jointly shape a livable village development and strengthen community cohesion.
Target groups
