Mission & Vision
Our mission is to strengthen dual vocational training in Austria through targeted funding instruments, continuously improve the quality of training, and thereby promote the successful transition of young people into the labor market. We create framework conditions in which training companies and educational institutions can jointly develop and implement innovative concepts to ensure the long-term demand for qualified skilled workers.
Target groups
The funding programs are primarily aimed at authorized trainers (§ 2 BAG) – that is, companies that train apprentices – as well as, in certain cases, scientific institutions that provide expertise in the field of vocational education research. Excluded are public authorities and enterprises that have been disqualified from funding due to serious legal violations.
