Mission & Vision
The Clubcommission Berlin e.V. is committed to the preservation and promotion of Berlin's club culture. Our goal is to improve the framework conditions for clubs and live music venues through targeted funding programs such as the Soundproofing Fund, to mitigate noise protection conflicts, and thus to secure the long-term survival and cultural diversity of Berlin.
Target groups
Funding is provided to commercially operated clubs and live music venues in Berlin with a capacity of up to 1,500 people, which have operated a program for at least 12 months within the last two years, featuring at least 24 GEMA-licensed live concerts or 48 events with artistic DJ participation. Exclusion criteria include venues receiving regular public funding exceeding 20% of their annual turnover, revue theaters, musical venues, concert halls, and comparable establishments.
