About the funder
The Dieter-Kaltenbach Foundation is a non-profit foundation with over 50 years of history in the Lörrach district. Its central mission is the development of personality through artistic-craft, playful, and social processes. Its areas of activity include day care centers (KiTa ideenReich, KiTa Am Bächle, Sandhüpfer), a student after-school care center, social group work (§27 SGB VIII), the Tutti Kiesi Rheinfelden play and cultural center, school social work, youth work, the ESF project "Fit for School," as well as cooperation with the Lörrach Adult Education Center. The foundation is integrated into regional networks, is committed to quality management, health protection, and staff training, and collaborates with municipal partners.

Mission & Vision
At the Dieter-Kaltenbach Foundation, people of all ages meet with kindness and appreciation. The liberal democratic basic order forms the foundation. The central concern is personality development: creative, artistic, and playful processes, as well as encounters with other people, nature, technology, and culture, create spaces for commitment, participation, and initiative. Through knowledge, skills, and experiences, the foundation contributes to the sustainable development of participants' self-awareness and their relationship to the world.
Target groups
The foundation's services are aimed at children (from kindergarten age through open and closed groups up to 14 years), adolescents, and adults in the Lörrach/Rheinfelden region. A particular focus is on children and adolescents with increased support needs, noticeable social or family backgrounds, migration backgrounds, as well as families requiring assistance within the framework of social group work and school social work. Interested parties in cultural and educational offerings of the adult education center are also part of the target group.
