Dr. Jürgen und Irmgard Ulderup Stiftung
About the funder
The Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup Foundation was established in 1983 by the married couple Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup. The founders contributed their assets to the charitable foundation from the life's work of the successful entrepreneur Dr. Jürgen Ulderup (Lemförder Metallwaren, later ZF Friedrichshafen AG). Since then, it has primarily pursued two funding objectives: vocational and academic technical education as well as nature conservation and landscape management in the Dümmer region. Projects are supported throughout the entire educational pathway – from initial workshops for children and adolescents to scholarships and awards for students and researchers.
