About the funder
The Dr. Marschner Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation based in Frankfurt am Main. Since its inception, it has supported a broad spectrum of cultural, scientific, and social projects in Frankfurt and Offenbach. The funded initiatives include inclusive educational projects such as supported communication at special needs schools, art and cultural events, as well as research projects at universities. With its Dr. Marschner Exhibition Award, the foundation honors outstanding curatorial concepts of non-profit and public institutions (endowment: €25,000). By 2018, the foundation had provided funding totaling €11,835,717.
