The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) is an agency of the European Commission that manages and implements programs in the fields of environment, climate action, energy, infrastructure, and transport within the powers delegated by the Commission. It specifically implements the LIFE Programme by organizing calls for financial aid and operating grants, awarding public contracts, and offering prize money. The agency operates under the supervision of the European Commission and ensures the implementation of the objectives of the European Green Deal as well as EU regulations promoting sustainable development.

CINEA supports stakeholders in implementing the European Green Deal through high-quality programme management. The agency plays a key role in driving economic development, enhancing competitiveness, and protecting nature. It promotes efficient knowledge exchange and synergies between its programmes and builds strong partnerships with stakeholders.

Target groups are project promoters, companies, research institutions, public authorities, and civil society organizations in EU Member States as well as associated countries. The funding is aimed at stakeholders in the fields of sustainable mobility, clean energy, climate protection, environment, maritime economy, and fisheries, who contribute to decarbonization and sustainable growth.
