About the funder
The Evangelical School Foundation in the EKBO is a church foundation under public law of the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. As the largest independent educational provider in the region, it operates 36 schools and 17 after-school care centers in Berlin and Brandenburg, where more than 10,000 students are taught and supported by around 1,400 staff members. As an open-minded foundation, it welcomes children and young people regardless of their cultural, social, or religious background.
