About the funder
The Gerd & Luzia Beckmann Foundation was established in 2008 and supports children and adolescents in need in the Artland region and surrounding areas. It provides one-time funding of up to €2,500 per initiative for sustainable projects in daycare centers and schools. In addition, endowments and donations are accepted to increase the foundation’s capital in the long term and to use the interest income for further funding measures.

Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to enable disadvantaged children and young people to participate in society. It supports leisure and educational programs in youth centers, kindergartens, and schools, so that young people can establish social contacts and find support in personal crises.

The target group includes individual persons as well as institutions such as kindergartens, schools, and project sponsors that offer programs to promote children and young people.
