About the funder
GSA mbH is a 100% subsidiary of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and operates on behalf of the state. Its statutory tasks include substantive participation in state labor market policy, advising start-ups, supporting job-creating or job-preserving measures, as well as process management in cases of business closures and insolvencies. Furthermore, GSA accepts applications for various funding instruments – primarily from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) – reviews them, issues decisions, and initiates payments. It supports companies, employees, and educational institutions in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in qualification, transformation of the working world, business start-up, and liquidity assurance.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to effectively link labor market and structural policy in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We promote the creation and safeguarding of jobs through consulting, project management, and the administration of funding programs. In doing so, we rely on innovative, tailored solutions and support companies, employees, as well as founders in qualification, transformation, and growth.
Target groups
The GSA targets companies of all sizes headquartered or with branches in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, employees and continuing education providers, as well as founders and successors. Additionally, it supports private educational service providers in the billing of ESF+ education vouchers and advises initiatives and partner networks in vocational training and transformation support.
