The Gisela and Erwin Sick Foundation is a legal, non-profit foundation under civil law based in Waldkirch/Freiburg. Founded in 2002 by Gisela Sick, widow of the SICK AG founder Dr.-Ing. e. h. Erwin Sick, it promotes comprehensive education for young people in the areas of youth, school, career, STEM, science, and research. Regionally rooted in Waldkirch and the Freiburg administrative district, the foundation supports kindergartens, schools, universities, projects, and scholarships with financial and material contributions as well as awards.

Mission & Vision
Enabling young people to receive a comprehensive education – under this guiding principle, the non-profit Gisela and Erwin Sick Foundation aims to provide children and adolescents with access to quality education. Target groups
