About the funder
The Gitta-Kastner Research Foundation (GKFS) has been promoting the scientific study of medal art in the German-speaking region since 1870. A focus lies on the research of the lives and works of medallists. To this end, the GKFS supports the digital and analog recording as well as the publication of all relevant data on medals and medallists and promotes the development and maintenance of a continuous bibliography of German-language numismatic publications. Endowments are welcome and tax-advantaged.

Mission & Vision
